As most parents are thinking about back-to-school season, consider the valuable early math learning apps.
Children begin to understand numbers and number concepts early, so try these apps to engage your child in math thinking. Additionally, for anyone who is using the Math-U-See curriculum, these apps would coordinate with the Primer Level.
Math Apps
Tally Tots Counting
TallyTots makes counting fun! Numbers 1 through 20 are presented first by counting to the number, introduced with a short game and reinforced through tapping and counting while playing.
Park Math
Park Math by Duck Duck Moose works on a variety of math concepts without sacrificing depth of learning or fun. This is an extremely thoughtful app that moves users seamlessly through counting, addition, subtraction, sequencing, patterning and comparing while being developmentally appropriate and fun.
Please get apps on android. I would love these for my children but we don’t have anything apple in our home.
My 4 year old really enjoyed Mathseeds (reading eggs). And my older son enjoyed the K through 2nd grade math on Starfall.
